
Support Passenger App
The menu of the passenger app shows a number of features. Home screen of passenger app shows book now, payment, my rides, customer support, wallet, Referral code, language, and log out option.
By clicking on the pencil icon, the screen will appear that shows passenger details that include first name, last name, phone number, email, password, and address.
The passenger app is showing availability of driver’s location on the map. Passenger can choose pickup location to request a ride. With the help of green pin, you can select pickup location on the map. There are two ways to select the pickup location.

- Drag and drop the to select pickup location with the help of green pin and time taken to reach the driver. The screen will show the nearest driver availability.
- Tap on the pencil icon, it will show data stored in Google. Six tabs will appear that is nearby, Recent, Airports, Train Stations, hotels and restaurants. These tabs will show addresses that are registered with Google. Click on the “Recent” to find recent places, Airports tab will show its address and locations near to it. Similarly, the tab of train stations shows its location and various other nearby locations registered with Google. Hotels tab show list of hotels registered with Google. Restaurants tab is showing the list of restaurants allowing users to choose any of them as per requirement of their ride.
- The third option is to enter pickup location manually. Tap in the search bar the desired location, Select the service type to know fare details. After request, it will take you to the next screen, showing two options, one is to come to the pickup location and guide driver regarding dropoff location.
When the driver will accept the job, the screen will show that he is reaching towards the destination within few minutes.
- The second option is to select drop off and estimated fare. With the real-time tracking feature, the screen will show to the passenger that driver is on his way and driver can see passenger status.
You can use Google maps to get the updated status of driver. As soon as driver arrived, he will tap on yes and a notification will be sent to the passenger. Now, the status of driver arrived has changed. Time elapsed is also showing. With the real-time tracking, route will show on driver app.
When the driver will arrive, he will tap on the start button and and the screen of trip started will be shown.
After the trip is finished, the screen of receipt will appear showing the amount to be paid. In the payment method, there are two options, you can add debit/credit card information or you can pay in cash.
Share tracking feature is also available in the passenger app in which you can share tracking to someone for security. A rider can send share tracking link and the person can open the link into the browser to see the details.
It will show trip history of the passengers’ rides with details that include name, pickup and drop off location, and status of complete or cancelled ride.
After the trip end, passenger can give feedback. Tap on the customer support, an interface will appear allowing to enter your feedback or call to customer support.
Wallet feature shows payment details, total and paid amount. At times, Business owners need to add or deduct passenger amount. If the passenger cancels the ride then cancellation fee will apply. But, if no credit card is used, wallet will show -$5 cancellation fee. The amount will be deducted on the next ride.
Debit card operates on the basis of available business. If debit card is empty, an error message will show as insufficient and the amount in the wallet will show negative. On the other hand, if the passenger pay extra money, it will show in the wallet.
When a passenger signup, a referral code is generated. The passenger can share this code to different profiles. If the passenger sends this referral code to someone else and he/she takes ride against that referral code, as soon as the trip finishes, credit will come to the referral after completing the ride.
CabStartup is currently available in two languages, English and Spanish. Soon, it will be available in French. If someone requires app in any other language, we can deliver it with added cost.
Passenger can logout by tapping the logout button.
